Magnolia Macaroon Pie

Evelyn’s grandmother lovingly made an egg custard pie several times each week! Sometimes she kept it simple and plain, while other times she added a handful of crunchy pecans for extra flavor and texture. Occasionally, she would sprinkle in a generous amount of shredded coconut, which would rise to the top of the pie as it baked, toasting beautifully and resting on the smooth, creamy custard beneath. This is the treasured pie that Evelyn fondly remembers from her childhood, and she sincerely hopes that you will enjoy it just as much!
